Hue International Sculpture Symposium
.....Carole has just returned from Vietnam where she participated in the 5th Hue International Sculpture Symposium and created "Swan," (3 meters tall) in marble.

Beijing Olympic Sculpture
.....The Beijing Olympic Landscape Sculpture Competition concluded in Beijing May 31. The top finalists were awarded Olympic medals. Carole is honored that her sculpture is one of three U.S. finalists and was awarded the "Excellent Works" distinction. Her sculpture, "Rhythmic Dancer," along with the other finalist sculptures, will be on display at the Olympics in Beijing.

Justice Center Gallery, Portland, Oregon
.....Carole's sculpture is featured in the window gallery of the Justice Center, south side of the building on SW Madison between 2nd and 3rd Avenues, through July 31. Amerika (resin, collage), and bronzes Lullabye, Nikikiri, Turtledove Duet, Silence.

Art in the Pearl, Portland, Oregon
.....Carole will demonstrate and display her work in the Pacific Northwest Sculptors Exhibition at Art in the Pearl in the North Park Blocks Labor Day Weekend.

Russia
.....Carole will participate in the First International Stone Sculpture Symposium of Penza in September.

Beijing Olympic Sculpture
.....Carole was selected from an international field of more than 2,400 artists to create a sculpture for the 2008 Beijing Olympics Landscape Sculpture Exhibition; her bronze, "Rhythmic Dancer," has just arrived back in Beijing after a year-long international tour.
